Always tell the exact truth, and I mean, the exact truth. When you are having a conversation with someone you need to be aware of the 3 aspects: the sender, the receiver and the context. A message is words with meaning that go from the sender to the receiver and are about the context. The issue is that both the sender and receiver have a different understanding about each other as well as about that context. The message could mean something for the sender but something different to the receiver. To be able to avoid this, it`'`s important to be aligned on each other, the context as well as the message. However, this is not the only thing to pay attention to. The next thing to be conscious about is the message itself. Make sure it is explicit/exact enough, if you leave a lot of interpretation for the receiver to fill in the blanks, you create misalignment. This could happen on two levels: 1.
